Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: virtualbox-ose

Ubuntu 9.10
Virtualbox 3.0.8

I have created a new partition with this software. Windows XP loads just fine for the first time.
However when I try to load the chipset drivers I am not able to. Error these drivers are not supported on this hardware. (but they should be)
Using the chipset driver install cd has a button to detect the motherboard. i instantly get an access violation saying it cant read address 000000000
when I try to load the drivers for nvidia 8800gtx, I get the error "these drivers are not supported on this hardware."
Virtualbox for some reason is not detecting the harware properly and is loading the default drivers for windows.
