[Bug 482679] Re: subtitleeditor exits when loading a video. Fatal IO error 11

I can reproduce this bug. Any video imported into subtitleeditor via the
menu "Video > Open" causes the program to crash with the following
error:

komputes at mini:~$ subtitleeditor
application run: <some_number>
subtitleeditor: Fatal IO error 11 (Resource temporarily unavailable) on X server :0.0.

This is an important bug when it comes to the subtitleeditor project. We
are using subtitleeditor 0.30.0-1ubuntu1 when upstream has released
0.34.0. Please test the latest version and post results. If stable, put
in PPA. After testing the new version should replace this old broken
version in Lucid.
