[Bug 489854] [NEW] locks up system when tuned to off air channel

Some channels are not transmitted all the time. When tuning to, or booting on a channel which is off air Me tv freezes and locks the whole system which then dims the display. The only way out is to force it to close  via System Manager.The same situation occurs if you tune into a text service. You cannot change channel until the tuned channel is back on air. These channels have to be excluded from the list of available channels to avoid the crash, or else you have to wait until the channel is back on air when you open the sofware to enable you to change channel. This problem has existed on earlier packages of both Ubuntu and Me TV.
