** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: flash-kernel

  Hi

  While reviewing the flash-kernel port to dove boards I found a list of
  issues which should be addressed but couldn't be addressed in time for
  A6.

  - boot script uses console=tty0 which I believe is the default
- - UUID is computed during install instead of during flash-kernel; I believe grub computes it each time it writes the config and think we could do the same; this applies to imx51 as well; proper samples in initramfs-tools/hooks/flash_kernel_set_root
  - boot scripts relies on default bootcmd in uboot which is supposed to be a loop over all interfaces + devices + partitions + fses + prefixes; I think there's no reason to make that assumption and it would be cleaner not to
  - boot script repeats the magic numbers 0x00200000 and 0x01100000

  Bye

** Changed in: flash-kernel (Ubuntu Karmic)
    Milestone: ubuntu-9.10-beta => ubuntu-9.10
