I just released a new version of Ejecter (0.3.1), featuring all the improvements made in karmic-gdu bzr branch plus an icon set matching the tray icons look from the new Humanity icon theme (you can see a screenshot here: http://s425.photobucket.com/albums/pp337/fredpel/Ejecter/?albumview=grid )
It should also work slightly better than the revision currently packaged.
I don't know if it's too late to update the package, I hope not 'cause I believe it's worth have it in Karmic.
