[Bug 445052] [NEW] Terminator window flickers when using tab completion or deleting text

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: terminator

Terminator "flickers" when I use tab completion. When typing a command
or a path, pressing tab once will make the screen flicker or flash white
for a second. Pressing tab a second time will complete the command as
normal.

I can also reproduce the flickering by opening a terminator window and holding the Backspace key.
I am unable to reproduce the issue on v0.12-2, but it seems to be present on 0.13

This happens with transparency and without.
