[Bug 447763] [NEW] gnome-gmail-notifier unable to check mail when started automatically

Binary package hint: gnome-gmail-notifier

When gnome-gmail-notifier is started automatically by adding it to the
Startup Applications the applet starts, but it consistently reports that
it is "Unable to check mail".  Killing the process and launching the
program manually enables it to function as it should.
