[Bug 448871] [NEW] screen turns white when playing in fullscreen

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-mplayer

When playing a movie file in gnome-mplayer about 4 seconds after going fullscreen the screen just turns white.
Sound playback is still going fine and when going back to window-mode the image just continues.

This does not happen when played in mplayer itself.

Hope there is a quick fix or help.
