What is the output of "sudo apt-get install glom"? I've got it installed
fine here.

I installed postgresql-8.3 and its dependencies using Synaptic Package Center.
I attempted to install Glom using Ubuntu Software Center
Software center reports, Package dependencies cannot be resolved.
The only information in details is "Glom"
