Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: conky
When I launch Conky from terminal it should draw itself to the screen
and provide output of the my conkyrc script being run. However on the
latest updates of Karmic (13/10/09) the whole system freezes up and I
receive no putput in the terminal. When I move the mouse it does not
move on the screen as expected. Its unusable and the only method to get
out is to power down computer.
So to recreate the bug its just needed to run Conky as normal. Also I
tested the problem is not my conkyrc script as I have tested different
ones and even the default conkyrc has the same effect.
