I did:

apt-get  install grub-pc
...
...
The following packages will be REMOVED:
  grub startupmanager
The following NEW packages will be installed:
  grub-pc
0 upgraded, 1 newly installed, 2 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
Need to get 434kB of archives.
After this operation, 340kB disk space will be freed.
Do you want to continue [Y/n]? 

and after reboot I have kernel -14 and the additional kernel -13 and -11
are also made available during boot. Thanks
