I reported this as a bug also, not knowing there was already an entry on
it

So, let me make sure I understand
* Install MPlayer, as I always do
* However, instead of installing Mozilla-Mplayer plug-in, now I need to install gecko-mediaplayer??? 
(Gecko's description in Synaptic does state that it is a browser "plug-in" that uses Gnome MPlayer and MPlayer to play the media)

If you ask me, I still consider it somewhat as a bug, Ubuntu should have
posted something on their "known issues" section to make sure people
testing 9.10 were aware about it
