Hi Niels,

The .log has indeed spotted the problem.

3.5.1-0ubuntu6 does not include
'./plugins/org.eclipse.update.core.linux_3.2.100.v20081008.jar', only
the source package
'./plugins/org.eclipse.update.core.linux.source_3.2.100.v20081008.jar'

The official 3.5.1 binary package from eclipse.org does include this
jar.
