I also have this problem in Jaunty, and it's not fixed in Karmic
either... same version of the package and same problem with the latest
Karmic updates as of today.

This is a shame, because this is a useful tool that has been completely
broken and unusable for several releases now. There appears to be a fix,
but there has been no progress on actually getting a fixed version into
any repos.

What needs to be done to get this moving? If no one wants to take on the
job of fixing it, maybe it should just be removed, since it's pointless
to have it in the repos when it can't actually be used.
