Binary package hint: mail-notification

I'm using mail-notification (5.4.dfsg.1-1ubuntu1) under karmic with
notify-osd (0.9.24-0ubuntu1), and I have a gmail account configured. If
I choose to show test messages in the preferences dialog they will be
shown nicely as passive dialogs like they should. But if I receive a
real email mail-notification will show a regular active dialog, with
three buttons (OK, Cancel and Open) in the middle of the screen,
interrupting whatever I was doing at the time. This is a really strange,
and inconsistent, behavior.
