[Bug 449259] Re: can't hear audio when using ZSNES game emulator

Please install the following package : libsdl1.2debian-all
and try this different ways to launch zsnes emulator :
zsnes -ad alsa
zsnes -ad sdl
zsnes -ad oss
zsnes -ad pulse

This seems to be a configuration issue ; you should convert this bug
into a question.
