Public bug reported:

Still trying to install firebird classic 2.1 on Kubuntu 9.04 using
KPackageKit.  Clean install of Kunbun following by install glibc and
libstdc.so.5, firebird common and then classic (common was a mistake
because I pressed the wrong button).  However it should not have
mattered.
