Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: cryptsetup
Using a clean install of Xubuntu 9.10 beta (downloaded 2009-10-21):
When connecting an USB harddrive, which contains an encrypted luks partition, a popup asks for the password. Once this is entered, the volume is mounted. However, a additional popup is shown, once again asking for the popup. Even if the correct password is entered, the volume fails to mount (obviously).
I will included screenshots of this:
01 = The initial request for a password
02 = Attempting to mount based on that password
03 = The volume has been mounted (note the "500G Volume"), but an additional request for a password results
04 = Failure to mount the volume ... it has already been mounted of course.
