[Bug 459631] [NEW] The Midnight Commander don't create .mc directory, so the config and others not saved into missing directory.

Binary package hint: mc

If you not have a .mc directory in your home (please rename the exist
for probe), and you run the "mc". You can't save the setting, and the
internal editor "copy selected the tempfile" not work, because these
want to save into .mc directory.

But the .mc is missing, and the MC create it not!
