Hi,

Thanks for reporting this bug. Unfortunately it has already been
reported. The easy way to fix the problem is to uninstall the GetDeb
version either with Synaptic or with 'sudo apt-get remove lives' from
the terminal and then reinstall the version from the repositories either
with Synaptic or with 'sudo apt-get update' and 'sudo apt-get install
lives' from the terminal.
