I tried to recover the system but no success. I can not retrieve the files required.
I have one other Kubuntu 8.10 on my pc (another disc) but can not see raid partition.


Want to give some information.
I have gigabyte Ma770-UD3 mainboard with AMD X2+ 250 Cpu 4gb Ram.
I have 3 Hdd. One is Kubuntu 8.10. Others plan to install Karmic.
Now I take plug of 810 off and try to install Karmic on two hdd's as raid1.
Even I enable software raid from main borard or activate raid while karmic install grub fails to install.
Everytime I come to grub stage checks the other operating systems and goes back to foreground menu.
Lilo asks do i want to activate a partition but than says no success with red warning popup.

Is there a way to activate and mount karmic raid from Kubuntu 8,10? So I can retrive files needed.
Also with karmic live CD i can not see or mount the raid array.
