[Bug 460572] [NEW] After upgrade from Jaunty to Karmic RC, a number of fullscreen applications have begen to freeze on launch or quit.

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: frozen-bubble

This appears to affect other applications in Ubuntu Karmic 9.10 as well.

Usually, these applications are fullscreen apps - but FB will hang in
either mode.

The only way to kill the app (when in fullscreen) is to open a new tty
session and use kill -s 9 to close the app.
