[Bug 461468] [NEW] OpenArena plays annoying static instead of sound effects, crashes on exit

Binary package hint: openarena

After upgrading to 9.10 RC, Openarena only plays static when launched
the first time after a reboot. When I exit and launch it again, it plays
no sound at all, and when I attempt to exit the second time, it freezes
the console, requiring a reboot.
