Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: apcupsd

I wonder is there ubuntu way to hibernate APC UPS on powerfail ?

I'd like to add options (listed in `apcupsd -h`) to apcupsd daemon.
I need --kill-on-powerfail to apcupsd to hibernate UPS on powerfail.

For example I'd like to have APCUPSDOPTIONS (may be blank by default) in /etc/default/apcupsd
APCUPSDOPTIONS="--kill-on-powerfail"

And put options to start-stop-daemon /etc/init.d/apcupsd:
start-stop-daemon start quiet exec $DAEMON -- $APCUPSDOPTIONS

Works good for me.

** Affects: apcupsd (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
