[Bug 461590] Re: VPN plugin ceased working

I can confirm this bug appearing on my 9.10 (RC; latest updates applied)
installation in a VirtualBox, although I am not sure whether it is
caused by the same reason as the above one. In fact, PPTP VPN has
actually ceased to work.

I've attached a syslog excerpt showing a typical connection attempt;
what I do not quite understand is the message in line 21 "Result code is
3 'Administrative Shutdown'. Error code is 0, Cause code is 0". Tried
with different settings (initially with those working fine on my 9.04
system), but to no effect.

Any hints on this appreciated, as I really need pptp for connecting to
my office. If needed, I'd provide further information.
