Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: flashplugin-nonfree

After some time browsing and wathcing flash sites and flash videos, all flash objects seem to disappear. There is now only a blank space where the flash object used to be. Doesn't seem to depend on a certain video. Once this happens, this affects all tabs with all flash objects (even if flash obejct previously worked).
So it seems that the flash plugin crashes.
Happened to me under jaunty, no change after upgrading to karmic.
