[Bug 406873] Re: cryptsetup always uses english (C?) locale at boot time

I have the similar problem. Fresh installation from
ubuntu-9.10-alternate-i386.iso  - Karmic Koala release. I chose Russian
language and now passphrase does not fit. I have tried that twice.
