the current situation is that pm 2.3.5 is available (2.3.3 is both debian
and ubuntu), with the above mentioned fixes.

according to Jim's comment, the .dev files are really conffiles, so the
lintian override is to be removed.

now, I'm very very busy upstream currently (
http://buildbot.ghz.cc/~buildbot/docs/r1940-91/asciidoc.html) and have
bigger bugs to deal with on nut first.
so if somebody is willing to update the package to 2.3.5 and fix the various
issues, be my guest.
