[Bug 423969] [NEW] Alpha 5: "Safe Graphics Mode" not working

Binary package hint: caspar

Tried to boot the Alpha 5 Live-CD (desktop, i386) in safe graphics mode,
but it failed (have to boot using it or my defective GPU freezes).

I checked the ISO's hash and ran the CD check - no errors were found.
