Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: glabels

This is a feature request. Please feel free to redirect me if it is
inappropriate here.

Firstly, when addressing domestic envelopes, adding the nation is
awkward, to say the least. That is, for me to send a letter from
Pasadena, CA USA to Los Angeles, CA USA is simply not done. It would be
nice if glabels would either simply delete any country in the
recipient's address which is the same as the sender (me).

Secondly, it seems that standard formatting for US addresses should
place the ZIP code on the same line as the city and state, in this
format: City, ST XXXXX-xxxx (assuming the "plus-four" is present).
Currently, the ZIP gets its own line on the bottom. This is mostly
cosmetic, but not entirely, since vertical space on a label is very
quickly eaten up by Suite numbers, "Attn: so-and-so", Company names,
etc. One less line could save many formatting headaches.

I thank you for everything that you do.

** Affects: glabels (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
