I didn't get that problem since a long time ago. I'm now running Ubuntu
Jaunty 9.04 64 bits on kernel 2.6.28-15 with VLC 0.9.9a and I tested a
lot video files and never experimented that problem again. I'm also
using a new computer. So... I,m pretty sure that the problem has been
fixed and you can close that bug report now.
