Some other test, using http://login:passwd@url/ is working, but the
trouble is that if I'm not navigating links, but manually edit my url
(add new location) demands me to show password again

Example:

http://login:passwd@url/ - works fine, http://login@url is showing in browser location field
pressing link to navigate http://login@url/someplace also works fine, but if I manually designate 
http://login@url/someplace it doesn't navigate (navigate to 401)
