  due to issues with the xserver i use the karmic alpha 5 alternate cd to
  install it. im duel booting on a macbook pro using boot camp. when it
  comes to installing grub2 if i dont specify the efi partition it fails
  to install. that in turn makes boot cam unable to see the partition when
