[Bug 429112] [NEW] Eclipse 3.4 GMF view glitch on karmic koala

Public bug reported:

Eclipse GMF based editors have problems showing the right editor pane.
Karmic Koala AMD64 bit.

The result is the same with proprietary and open source video driver (NVIDIA).
The same Eclipse version works fine with Jaunty Jackalope.

Reproduce:
 - Download and unpack the Eclipse Modeling Tools release
  - from: http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/
  - this file: http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/technology/epp/downloads/release/galileo/R/eclipse-modeling-galileo-incubation-linux-gtk-x86_64.tar.gz
 - Unzip this release
 - start eclipse
 - create new standard project
 - create new .../ other/UML2.1 Diagrams/Class diagram
 - Create some classes on the empty canvas
 - When scrolling, and resizing the window the editing canvas is always rendered different
