[Bug 430415] [NEW] Firefox problems with https

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

My gmail account is configured to always use https. Using firefox 3.0.14 in ubuntu 9.04. When i'm in the inbox and i want to reload the page or go to outbox, the browser tires to connects and fails or takes a while. this goes away if i configure my gmail account to use only http.
I also tried the same thing after installing firefox 3.5.3 and the problems persists.
