[Bug 430681] [NEW] package ec2-init (not installed) failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script killed by signal (Interrupt)

Binary package hint: ec2-init

This is very weird.

At one point I'd mistakenly attempted to install ec2-init on a none AMI.

I'd long since removed this package with 'apt-get --purge remove
ec2-init'.

david at home1:~$ sudo bash
root at home1:~# dpkg -l | grep ec2
ii  ec2-ami-tools                         1.3-34544-0ubuntu1                         Amazon EC2 AMI tools
ii  ec2-api-tools                         1.3.36506-0ubuntu5                         Amazon EC2 API

Now this morning after 'apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade' there is
some attempt to install this.

/var/log/distupgrade is empty.
