Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-nouveau
If I have 2 monitors plugged in during boot (in this case, my laptop
screen and a DVI screen), the console boot phase works great, then when
X starts, it seems to crash, then restart, and continuously restart with
no way to stop it (even unplugging the 2nd monitor at this point does
nothing).
With only the 1 monitor plugged in at boot (the laptop screen), X starts
fine. I can then plug in the 2nd monitor, and use the display applet to
enable it, and all is good.
I'm using Ubuntu Karmic on amd64.
xserver-xorg-video-nouveau is Version: 1:0.0.10~git+20090823+569a17a-
0ubuntu1
** Affects: xserver-xorg-video-nouveau (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
