[Bug 434253] [NEW] System does not boot if there's /etc/mtab~

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: cryptsetup
The system does not boot anymore if there's /etc/mtab~ - it seems
mountall seems to hang for some time until it fails. This happens
directly after the activation of the LUKS devices. rm -f /etc/mtab~*
solved the problem for me.
IMO, /etc/mtab~* should be deleted during init before running mountall -
or it should even be deleted in mountall.
