- Debian: no bugs, thorough maintenance
- Upstream (maintainer is Debian maintainer): frequent releases
- No CVEs
- Code written in a defensive way, and using almost no dynamic allocations (which I checked).
- Packaging is fine
- No test suite unfortunately.
