[Bug 436444] [NEW] Firefox needs clicked twice to come to front over Synaptic

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-do

What I did: Have Synaptic and Firefox open. Gnome Do is running in docky mode. Have Synaptic covering the screen.
When I try to bring Firefox to front its icon needs to be clicked twice in order to have it appear.

I tried with the window list applet, and there it does not require more
than one click.

This is on Karmic with all updates installed. Gnome-do is from ubuntu
repos.

Note: I'm having problems getting Compiz to run as of the latest updates. I'll try with the window list applet once I'm able to get Compiz to run to ensure that it's not a Compiz bug.
I'll also check methodically to see if this also relates to other applications once Compiz is again running.
