Hi Colin-- I do not know what is happening....The patched grub from your
PPA "seems" to still look of UUID's & it would appear that Vladimir
wants that removed. I have updated to the current Grub2, grub-common &
grub-pc & am back to the 3min 50 sec time to menu. Any thoughts would be
very interesting at this time....I am glad that I re-boot this unit only
every couple of days.
