[Bug 502473] [NEW] Does not show up in menu. Needs .desktop entry?

Binary package hint: mypasswordsafe

When I installed MyPasswordSafe I was unable to find it in the
Applications menu. I expected to find it in Applications > Accessories
with other Security Utilities like KeePassX, PasswordGorilla, or
Revelation Password Manager. I suspect this is because the package has a
/usr/share/menu entry instead of a /usr/share/applications/*.desktop
entry.

Didn't some program convert these? It seems like providing the .desktop
entry is the best, or if not to depend on or at least suggest the
package that converts /usr/share/menu entries to .desktop entries.

I see the package is getting stale upstream. It's greatest feature is
providing a native gui that is compatible with Password Safe. Perhaps
there is a more up-to-date replacement.
