Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openbox

Openbox start from GDM is awfully slow compared to previous versions.
So, I edited .config/openbox/autostart.sh and added as the last line:

espeak 'Hacky GNU gear'

When logging in again into Openbox, the message can be heard almost
immediately, but the splash screen is annoying there for a few more
seconds.

Verified on openbox 3.4.7.2-4, Ubuntu Karmic 9.10 on amd64.
