Public bug reported:
Linux 2.6.31-16-generic #53-Ubuntu SMP Tue Dec 8 04:02:15 UTC 2009 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 9.10
Release: 9.10
Codename: karmic
Gnome version: 2.28.1
please take a look at the attached image ("gnome-print.png"). You can see that evince has only a single page document - whereas I have actually specified TWO pages in the "Range" section.
On clicking print, the gnome-print menu vanishes but nothing happens.
This is an actual incident that happened to me while I was printing a
series of documents and the settings of the previous document carried
over to the next one. I could'nt figure out what was happening, since no
error messages were thrown.
>From a usability perspective, this is really bad since I dont know what
is the problem - my printer (which I restarted a couple of times), my
driver or my machine.
Thanks and regards
Sandeep
