[Bug 496276] Re: New version 1.34 available

FYI: In Debian unstable 1.34 has been released (and Debian bug 506652 has been closed).
What is the schedule to mirror this fix to Ubuntu?

This has some relevance as the currently active version in the most
recent Ubuntu distributions (1.33.dfsg-1) is entirely unusable (due to
boilerplate changes fixed in 1.34).
