[Bug 439787] Re: mplayer-nogui does not disable screensaver while playing

I'm reopening this bug and confirming, as a few other people (previous
comments) and I have noticed this issue in both the GUI and non-GUI
versions of mplayer. It's particularly annoying with gnome-screensaver
because for some reason, it does not recognize any input from the
keyboard/mouse while fading in while mplayer is running. It works
properly otherwise.
