Short version is that the mozillateam has heavily patched xulrunner.  It
is get tough to update to the latest version which is required by
browse.  The Debian unstable version works fine in Lucid.

A short term answer might be to create a ppa which contains xulrunner
synced from debian to use as a dependency until the mozillateam gets
this sorted out.
