The current eclipse package for ubuntu does not have any software update
sites.

For the current version of eclipse classic available here

/eclipse-SDK-3.5.1-linux-gtk.tar.gz

It comes with the following software sites that should be in the ubuntu
package.

The Eclipse Project Updates - http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/updates/3.5
Galileo - http://download.eclipse.org/releases/galileo
