This is a bug report for xubuntu 9.10. For some time xfdesktop takes
forever to load (3-5 minutes) and then eats cpu (100%) for about ten
minutes *every* time I log in. There are many xfdesktop processes (up to
15!) in this case. In this time the system is hardly usable.

There has been some discussion about this in a ubuntu forum at
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1162848 but with no real
conclusion. Perhaps the problem is related to ~/.xsession-errors, hence
I will include it.
