What Happened
While installing, I was asked to enter a password for webissues then I was asked for the root password for mysql.
I gave the wrong password for mysql and Synaptic asked if I wanted to retry.
I re-entered the correct password and the installation apparently proceeded (but didn't ask again for the webissues password)
After installation the login screen accessed from the menu>Office>Webissues failed to recognise the webissues password
which I assumed to be for user "admin" - (the admin username according to linuxuser tutorial)

Was able to open webissues by browsing to http://localhost/webissues/ but site reported errors in the database.
On logging into mysql as root, I found that there was only an empty database of name webissues with NO tables at all.

After uninstalling and reinstalling, the webissues installation script
did not ask for an admin password and did not establish a database,
indicating that there is a config file or configuration entries
somewhere retained after the uninstall.

What I expected to happen
I expected the installation to 
1. establish an admin user and save the password supplied during installation.
2. set up the necessary mysql databases to enable the server to operate.
3. be able to use webisues.
